Elise (Angelina Jolie) do të ulet pranë një turisti amerikan, Frank (Johnny Depp), në një tren që po i drejtohej Venecies. Ajo e zgjodhi atë nga paraqitja e tij, e cila i ngjasonte asaj të të dashurit të saj që kërkohet nga policia. Jo vetëm që do ti duhet ti shmangen policisë por edhe kriminelit të cilit i dashuri i saj i ka vjedhur paratë.
